38 Bedford Road

We are allocated only seven minutes away from Ilford town centre & Ilford Train Station, Bedford Road is a registered care home and aims to provide high-standard accommodation and care in currently 5 rooms on two floors. Five of these are for single occupancy. Bedford road has been renovated throughout and there is provisions on the ground floor for service users who are partially mobile and in some instances where they are more reliant on the use of wheelchairs.  The accommodation consists of a mixture of en-suits and furnished rooms with a hand basin, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair and shared use of all other communal facilities such as lounge, dining room, kitchen, shower / bathroom, WC’s, laundry, garden and telephone. All rooms in the Home are fitted with smoke alarm and a fire alarm system with emergency lighting.

Fern Leaf is staffed by trained and experienced care workers, backed up where appropriate by ancillary staff.

There are always a number of staff on duty throughout the day, more at busy times according to the needs of the service users.

Also On-Call services are available 24hrs and sleep-in if necessary. 

The aim of staff is to help each resident to lead as independent a life as possible.
